Toosii's most well-known songs include "Red Lights," "Love Cycle," "Poetic Pain," and "Sapiosexual," as well as his first studio album, Poetic Pain, which debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200. Toosii was inspired to pursue music by both his brother and father, and he was homeless for a time before launching his career.
Toosii's big break came in 2019 when he released "Red Lights," which received millions of streams. On April 30, 2019, Toosii released his Who Dat mixtape, followed by the 13-track Platinum Heart mixtape on February 7, 2020. When it was first released, Platinum Heart debuted at number one on the Billboard Heatseekers Album list. The mixtape was later expanded into a 20-track deluxe edition.
Toosii's third South Coast Music Group-affiliated Poetic Pain mixtape was released as his first Capitol Records album on September 18, 2020. Toosii's album Poetic Pain, which includes the RIAA certified Gold song 'Love Cycle' with Summer Walker, debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 in September 2020. Thank You for Believing, Toosii's sixth mixtape was released on May 7, 2021. The title of the tape expresses gratitude to "those who believed in him and helped him get to where he is today." Mulatto, Key Glock, and DaBaby all make appearances on 13 tracks. He was a member of the XXL Freshman Class in 2021.
