Read News!: Tinubu gave me N2m to fuel my car - Sunday Igboho; Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, a prominent Yoruba rights activist, has disclosed that after visiting him, the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, gave him the amount of N2 million to fuel his vehicle.
This was revealed by Igboho on Tuesday during an Instagram Live Chat with media mogul Dele Momodu.
According to him, during the build-up of the Ondo State governorship race, which included a former state governor, Olusegun Mimiko, he met Tinubu. Igboho said that Rasheed Ladoja, another former Oyo State Governor, told him that Tinubu wanted to see him in Lagos at his Bourdillon home.
He then traveled to speak with Tinubu, who convinced him not to accept the election of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) after Ladoja was impeached as governor by the party in 2006.
Tinubu then circulated N2 million to fuel his car back to his base. Igboho denied using thuggery to make his money, adding that he's a businessman who's into cars.
