Timaya, a multi-talented musician, has released another impressive single titled "Gra-Gra". This follows the enormous success of his 2020 debut single, "Born To Win." Papichulo releases this song to promote his upcoming album, Gratitude.
Gra-Gra by Timaya—Papichulo is the stage name of Inetimi Timaya Odon, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and dancehall artist.
He is the founder of DM Records Limited and debuted as a solo artist in 2005 with the release of "Dem Mama" from his debut album, True Story. With his third studio album De Rebirth, released in collaboration with Black Body Entertainment, and its lead single "Plantain Boy," he gained even more visibility and international acclaim.
With his 2020 debut song Born To Win, Papichulo, as that same Plantain Boy, took us back to his humble beginnings. Sharing that his main focus has been and will always be 'To Win' since his birth. Timaya reminds us that the music industry changes over time and that some artists' fame fades with changes in sound, music taste, and new consumers.
The singer went on to say that because he wasn't born with a silver spoon and has no one to help him, he has to work hard every day to maintain his celebrity and wealth.
Timaya shares 'Gra Gra' while staying on the same page and vibes. This new record is about him being humble, not arrogant, despite having accomplished a lot in life. How he worked so hard to get to where he is now, and how he continues to work hard to maintain his wealth.
This track is a motivational song in which Papichulo explains that if you want to enjoy the good things in life, you must work and strive hard.
