When Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwickyoungest )'s daughter Em becomes strangely enamoured with an antique wooden box she bought at a yard sale, they don't think much of it. The pair fears the existence of a malicious power in their midst as Em's conduct grows increasingly erratic, only to discover that the box was built to house a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that enters and eventually devours its human host.
THE POSSESSION is directed by Ole Bornedal (NIGHTWATCH), written by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White, and produced by horror legend Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert, and J.R. Young, and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan (WATCHMEN) and Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer"). The film is produced by Lionsgate and Ghost House Pictures.
