Tekno has released a new song in both audio and video format to appease his fans after a long wait—Tekno, the music boss of the Cartel, is back with a brand new single titled "Puttin."
Puttin by Alhaji Tekno—On this record, the multi-talented singer keeps it low-key and sings about being a gentleman. He sings to his lady that he is not a gangster, a flirt, or the Puttin's General (one that connects with different holes).
Tekno miles has been quiet since announcing 2020 in February with the single "Beh Beh" with Masterkraft and releasing two tracks in April, "Kata" and "Sudden."
His most recent single, "Sudden," is a mid-tempo socially conscious song with a positive vibe. Tekno gives voice to the voiceless and hopeless in this thoughtful song. He sings for the millions of Nigerians who are suffering as a result of our bad leaders' government. He spoke about homeless people, people who are hungry on the streets, and people who are unable to enjoy basic social amenities despite working hard. He's basically using music to speak about the country's never-ending corruption and poverty.
He's been teasing us with different song snippets and beat productions via his social media platforms since his last release.
While fans awaited new music from him, he decided to return with this new track called "PuTTin."
Tekno revealed that he has been working on the finishing touches to his debut album during this quiet period. Ice Prince's "Make Up Your Mind," Krizbeatz' "Toe Toe," Selebobo's "Dai Dai," Adekunle Gold's "Firewood," and Skales' "Badman Love Remix" are among the songs he featured.
