Rapper Cardi B contributed to the recent EndSARS rally centred at ending police violence in Nigeria. This came after she was alerted to the protest by AsiwajuLerry, a Nigerian Twitter user who tagged her to his tweet.
He tweeted;
“Madam @iamcardib, trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium. We are not safe!! If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us. Enough is enough! #EndSarsProtests #EndSARSNow!!”
Reacting to the tweet, Cardi B requested for a recap of what's going on in Nigeria and even vowed to do some research on it. She went on to share her love for Nigeria.
She said:
“What’s going ? Can you give me a summary so I can research later ….you know I love Nigeria”
