Raoul John Njeng-Njeng (born 1 April 1991) is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter who goes by the stage name Skales. Around Kaduna, he began creating rap songs in 2000. Between 2007 and 2008, he competed in the Zain Tru Search competition and won the North Central area. His debut track, "Must Shine," was heavily played on Rhythm FM stations in Lagos, Jos, and Abuja. In 2009, he moved to Lagos and got a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment. Skales has almost 200 songs to his credit and has worked with a variety of singers, including eLDee and Banky W. His most well-known songs are "Shake Body," "Mukulu," "Komole," and "My Baby."
