This was stated in a declaration made available to journalists in the State on Saturday by Mrs. Idongesit Etiebet, Education Commissioner. On 1 April 2021, Etiebet said that the second term will be completed.
It advised parents and guardians to ensure that the façemasks in compliance with the COVID-19 security protocols better shield their children.
Part of the resolution reads, "The school administrators are responsible for ensuring the availability of handwashing supplies, including running water, hand sanitizers, and thermometers.
“Students and teachers should also comply with physical distancing within the school premises and those who feel sick are advised not to come to school, but seek medical help.
The Commissioner reminded the School’s community that the State’s Education Monitoring team was committed to ensuring that these directives were not flouted.
