On at about 07:22:37 AM, Quavo & Takeoff - Hell Yeah was updated.
The new single "Hell Yeah" by American hip hop duo Migos' Quavo and Takeoff is taken from their collaborative mixtape "Only Built For Infinity Links."
Released on October 7, 2022, Only Built For Infinity Links by Quavo and Takeoff 8s is the duo's first joint album following a lengthy library of work between the two.
Album title is a reference to Raekwon's classic "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..." from 1995, and Quavo's cover art features Ghostface Killah's signature hand motions as a tribute to the late rapper.
Speculation over a possible split among Migos was fuelled after the May 20 release of "HOTEL LOBBY (Unc & Phew)" as the album's lead promotional track.
A promotional song titled "Us vs. Them" featuring Gucci Mane was made available for digital download on July 29.
Quavo and Takeoff told RapRadar in an interview published on August 18, 2022 that they were working on an album to be released under the alias "Unc & Phew," which would include elements of both of their musical genres.
We've always had this goal in mind, to break this record [...] This is the real deal, unopened in the vault since 2024 or 2026 [sound]. The original shouts and screams will be revisited. It's no secret that my history involves Us and Them. It runs deep, and it's all about getting back together with family.
On August 26, the promotional song "Big Stunna" featuring Birdman was released digitally via various streaming services.
On September 6, Quavo polled his followers on Twitter on the possible album. Quavo and Takeoff announced the album's release date and artwork the next day on their respective social media profiles, with the latter pair comparing the album to Outkast's 2000 album Stankonia and its hit "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..."
The album contains guest appearances from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Young Thug, Gunna, and more, and its track listing was revealed on September 23 by Quavo and Takeoff.
The band's fourth and final promotional single, "Nothing Changed," was released online on September 30, one week prior to the album's release.
