Olakira has spent the last few years honing his musical abilities and is now ready to take over the music scene. He chose the name Olakira, which means "Shining Star" in Swahili, to show his readiness.

He began his career in 2015 when he met U & I Music's Record Label Executive "Ra," and he was born Adefemi Ebenezer Adelusola. For his dedication, humility, and outstanding technical contributions to the label's projects, he was awarded a well-deserved record deal with U&I Music in 2018.

His debut singles, "Hey Lover" and "Flirty Signal," marked his official entrance into the Nigerian music scene.

Olakira's musical tastes are a mash-up of African pop, dancehall, and R&B, strewn with indigenous drums, chords, strings, and rhythms.
