Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt has released a new song titled 'Summer Fling (Acoustic Version)' off her album 'ÄlskarNights (Deluxe Version). Two of Nina Nesbitt's tracks have been in the top 40, with 'Stay Out' peaking at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart back in April 2013. Released in April of 2012, Nina Nesbitt's The Apple Tree EP quickly rose to the top of the iTunes singer/songwriter chart and the top ten overall. As a follow-up to 'Stay Out,' the EP and its first single, 'The Way in the World,' came out on July 23, 2013.

In August of 2013, she sang Fleetwood Mac's 'Don't Stop' for a John Lewis commercial campaign, and the song peaked at number 61 on the charts. The first album by Nesbitt, titled Peroxide, was out on February 17, 2014. She has written songs performed by artists including Jessie Ware, Olivia Holt, Don Diablo, and The Shires. Nesbitt's second studio album, The Sun Will Rise, the Seasons Will Change, was out in February 2019.

Before Ed Sheeran's scheduled appearance on an Edinburgh radio broadcast, Nesbitt had the chance to meet the singer. She had first approached him for advice on how to break into the music industry as a singer/songwriter, and when she played a song for him on the guitar, he invited her to join him on his European tour. After hearing her cover of 'Stay Awake,' Nina Nesbitt was asked to perform in support of Example. She also had a role in Ed Sheeran's 'Drunk' music video.
