A second top 40 single, "Stay Out," was released by Nina Nesbitt in April 2013.
As a result of airplay on BBC Radio 1, the debut EP from singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt, The Apple Tree, debuted at No. 6 on the iTunes download charts when it was released in April 2012. After the success of "Stay Out," on July 23, 2013, the EP and the song "The Way in the World" was released.
She covered Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop" in August 2013 for a John Lewis ad campaign, and the single peaked at number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100. On February 17, 2014, Nesbitt released his debut album, titled Peroxide.
Jessie Ware, Olivia Holt, Don Diablo, and The Shires are just some of the artists whose music she has penned. Nesbitt's second studio album, The Sun Will Rise, the Seasons Will Change, came out in February 2019.
Artist Ed Sheeran was scheduled to perform on Nesbitt's radio show in Edinburgh, and the two of them met shortly before the show. After she played him a song on guitar and asked for advice for aspiring singer-songwriters, he invited her to join him on his European tour.
After hearing Nina Nesbitt's performance of "Stay Awake," Example asked her to join him onstage as a special guest. And she can be seen in Ed Sheeran's "Drunk" music video, too.
