Nina Nesbitt, a Scottish singer-songwriter, has released a new song, "Colours of You (Room With a View Version)," off her album 'Älskar Nights (Deluxe Version).'
Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt has released a new single, "Colours of You (Room With a View Version)," taken from the deluxe edition of her album Älskar Nights. In April 2013, Nina Nesbitt's song "Stay Out" peaked at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart. With support from BBC Radio 1 and the top spot on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart, Nina Nesbitt's first EP, The Apple Tree, was a huge success upon its April 2012 release. As a follow-up to "Stay Out," the EP and its first single, "The Way in the World," came out on July 23, 2013.
She covered "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac in August 2013 for a John Lewis commercial campaign, and the song peaked at number 61 on the charts. Nesbitt's debut album, titled Peroxide, was out on February 17, 2014. Jessie Ware, Olivia Holt, Don Diablo, and The Shires are just a few of the artists whose music she has written. Nesbitt's second studio album, The Sun Will Rise, the Seasons Will Change, was out in February 2019.
Nesbitt had the chance to chat with musician Ed Sheeran before his scheduled appearance on an Edinburgh radio program. She had first approached him for advice on how to break into the music industry as a singer/songwriter, and when she played a song for him on the guitar, he invited her to join him on his European tour. After hearing Nina Nesbitt's performance of "Stay Awake," Example asked her to appear onstage with him in support. Moreover, she is featured in Ed Sheeran's "Drunk" music video.
