NDLEA operatives arrest singers with cannabis, molly in Lagos
Zinoleesky and Mohbad, two Nigerian singers, were seized by NDLEA officers after a midnight raid on their Lagos home.
The operatives seized cannabis and molly at their apartment, according to NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi, who confirmed the story.
"Our men stormed an area in Idado estate where Bara Market boys dwell," the official said. Molly and a small amount of Cannabis sativa were found in their flat and automobile."
He went on to say that there were six people detained in total, two girls and four guys.
According to the spokesman, the victims' arrests come only weeks after the Agency nabbed fast-rising skit creator De General following a raid on his Lagos home.
De General was promptly accused in court and convicted of trafficking tramadol and Cannabis sativa, according to him.
He went on to say that the judge pardoned the skit producer because the amount of narcotics found on him was too minor to warrant a sentence.
