Applaudise by Muffius—Emmanuel Chibuzor Ikpe, real name Emmanuel Chibuzor Ikpe, is a native of Imo State in Nigeria's eastern area who is presently located in Boston, United States of America. Emmanuel Ikpe, popularly known as Muffius, moved to the United States in 2014 to complete his studies after nearly losing his life in the 2014 Nyanya Twin bomb attack, which left him devastated and in need of a fresh start. During his time in the United States, he found his passion for modeling, and his success and love for music frequently placed him on the fence, deciding between Music and Modeling."I thought to myself one day," the Nigerian-born singer says, "why can't I do both?" Since then, he has been steady in both crafts.
British Vogue approached Tara Hallock, a Connecticut American designer "Elizabeth's Dandelions," to do a feature of her business in their 2020 November wedding issue, and the June 10th Styled Shoot with Muffius and American Model Julia Baker was selected to be featured in the November's Issue, landing them at Number 10 in the layout of the November 2020 British Vogue magazine with American TennisPlayer Serena William on the cover page. Muffius has also cooperated with one of California's top fashion designers, "Ayler Young," who has worked with A-list celebs such as WizKid, Sean Paul, Gigi Hadid, Kendal Jenner, and others.
Musically, his sounds will break into any market; with a number of singles and videos released in recent years, Muffius is poised to break into the African mainstream by becoming the new face of Afrobeat; his latest single is currently receiving airplay and doing well in the United States and back home in Nigeria. Muffius, who is now putting together a superplaylist to transform your playlists, is getting ready to release his debut E.P, which will be heavily pushed back home, and the body of work will act as a welcome home project for the Boston-based NigeriaModel/Singer.
In a brief interview with Adschieve Media, the international superstar stated, "I've always been in love with the act of music creation and there is something magically about creating music from scratch which always left me curious especially back in secondary school in Nigeria and also I do see a lot of musicians who have the passion but their parents don't believe in their dreams as much as they do." I'm incredibly fortunate to have a very supportive parenting when it comes to my music. My mother is my biggest supporter, and she has had a positive effect on my music, particularly the "Yoruba" lyrical Aspect."The music industry is broad, and Muffius is the future of Afrobeat with his fashion sense and musical flair.
