Lento by Mr Eazi featuring J Balvin—On the suave and irresistible "Lento," Nigerian Afropop singer MR EAZI and Colombian reggaeton sensation J BALVIN continue their cross-continental relationship. The song, which is available now on all DSPs, is the pair's third collaboration and the first to be released as a single.

This single follows the success of Mr Eazi's previous collaboration with Major Lazer and Nicki Minaj, 'Oh My Gwad.'
On an undulating beat from Nigerian producer KILLERTUNES, MR EAZI and J BALVIN connect two musical worlds, trading lyrics in Spanish, English, and Yoruba, with a nod to Elvis Crespo's merengue classic "Suavemente." The two previously cooperated on J BALVIN's 2019 album Oasis with Bad Bunny's "Como Un Bebé" and J BALVIN's Colores, which recently received the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album.
"J BALVIN and I have been like brothers since we connected in 2018," MR EAZI says of the friendship, which began when Balvin chose Eazi to open his 2018 North American Tour after meeting through mutual colleague Michael Brun. "I've been introducing him to my world of urbano and reggaeton, and he's been introducing me to his." It's been a cross-cultural interaction and marriage between cousins, as far as I can tell. We made 'Lento,' one of many records we've recorded together, in that spirit."
