Your Body by Mayorkun—Mayorkun, the Mayor of Lagos, caps off a flawless 2020 campaign with a pop anthem called 'Your Body.' This is his fourth official single for 2020, and it follows the success of his last single, Betty Butter, which featured Davido of DMW.
So far, the year 2020 has been fantastic for the pop singer. Mayorkun began the year with the anthemic Bop record 'Geng,' a risky attempt with pop and British hip-hop driven instrumentation arranged by QueBeat that paid off handsomely. Following his tremendous success, he released another experimental Bop tune, 'Of Lagos,' which was produced by Fresh VDM and features him rapping and mentioning the phrase "Of Lagos" a hundred times. It had a great melody and catchy lyrics: "Of Lay, Lay, Lay.... Set Awon, Gbas Gbos..." Later in the year, he teamed up with Davido, the Boss, and released another smash hit titled 'Betty Butter.' All three singles spent weeks, if not months, at the top of the music charts.
Aside from these legitimate hit singles, The Mayor also appeared on a number of other songs, including DJ Kaywise's 'What Type Of Dance,' Bad Boy Timz's 'MJ Remix,' Chike's 'If You No Love,' Jamopyper's 'If No Be You,' ‘The Best’ by Davido and the recent ‘E Be Tinz‘ by Dremo to mention a few.
