Machine Gun Kelly, an American rapper, singer, and musician, has released his new single "Eyes On Fire," which features songwriter and singer Naomi Wild.
The rapper, born Colson Baker, is known for his compositional blending of contemporary and alternative hip-hop with rock. Baker announced the project's title, Tickets to My Downfall, on January 14, 2020, and that it would be released on September 25, 2020.
Baker began releasing daily recordings, covers, and collaborations as part of his "Lockdown Sessions" series during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Covers included Paramore's "Misery Business" (with Travis Barker), Oasis' "Champagne Supernova" (with Yungblud), and PVRIS' "My House" remix.
Some tracks were later re-released on Tickets to My Downfall special editions. Tickets for My Downfall's first single, "Bloody Valentine," will be available on May 1, 2020, followed by "Concert for Aliens" on August 5 and "My Ex's Best Friend" featuring Blackbear on August 7.
Baker announced on November 22, 2020, following his performance at the AMAs, that his album Tickets to My Downfall would be turned into a "first of its kind musical film experience" titled Downfalls High, which would air in January 2021.
He released the single "DayWalker" with Corpse Husband on March 12, 2021. On April 29, he released "Love Race," his third collaboration with Kellin Quinn, as a single.
On August 9, 2021, he announced that his next album, Born With Horns, will be another collaboration with Barker.
It was announced on August 26, 2021, that he would star in and co-direct the film Good Mourning With A U, alongside Mod Sun, Dove Cameron, Megan Fox, and Becky G. Machine Gun Kelly performed at the 2022 NHL All-Star Game halftime show in Las Vegas on February 5, 2022.
