Lil Gotit, who was born on August 6, 1999, began releasing songs with his brother Lil Keed, with whom he worked on the tracks "Trap Bunkin," "Dirty Dancer," and "All Season."
For the song "Heavy Metal," Lil Gotit worked with Keed and Lil Uzi Vert. In November 2018, he collaborated with Lil Uzi Vert once more on the song "Hercules."
Lil Gotit also collaborated with Gunna on the song "Superstar." Lil Gotit's debut studio album Hood Baby was published by Alamo Records and featured 18 hits, including "Loco" and "Small Todger."
Lil Gotit's second studio album, Crazy But It's True, was released on March 14, 2019. Gunna, Wali Da Great, Lil Keed, and Lil Durk all contributed to the project.
Gotit's song "Pop My Shit" was released on July 1, 2019. Gotit released his single "Oh Ok" along with a music video on August 7, 2019.
Gotit released his collaboration track "What It Was" with Future on August 10, 2020, along with a music video for his then-upcoming album Crazy But It's True 2, which was subsequently titled Top Chef Gotit.
Gotit released his collaboration track "Walk Down" alongside CEO Trayle, Lil Double 0, and late rapper Biggz on December 8, 2021, along with a music video.
Gotit released his track "MF Trimm" on June 28, 2022, which was Lil Keed's favorite song and so was released as an homage to Lil Keed, who died a month earlier.
Lil Gotit's music was being played in clubs after he was described as one of Atlanta's next emerging rap sensations. Maja Gotit, a moniker based by his "having everything," spawned the name Lil Gotit. Young Thug has been described as his mentor.
