Kim Petras, a German singer and songwriter, just dropped a new song titled "If Jesus Was A Rockstar."
The Los Angeles-based singer's indie releases between 2016 and 2020 can be found on her label, BunHead Records. In 2021, Kim Petras signed a recording contract with Amigo and Republic Records.
When Petras was just a teen, she started making records and in 2011, her first EP, titled One Piece of Tape, was released.
Several viral music charts on Spotify were topped by her first internationally released single, "I Don't Want It at All," which she published independently in 2017.
On June 28, 2019, Petras dropped her first full-length album, titled Clarity. For the first nine weeks leading up to the album's release, Petras released a new song and music video every week.
The album charted at #7 on the Heatseekers chart and #26 on the Independent Albums chart, and it was praised by music critics. Turn Off the Light, Petras's second studio album, followed in October 2019.
