On at about 08:16:12 AM, Kill Sunday Igboho, another Boko Haram’ll rise in Southwest – Prophet Iginla warns Buhari govt was updated.
The Champions Royal Assembly's Prophet Joshua Iginla has cautioned the Federal Government against killing Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, also identified as Sunday Igboho.
Iginla cautioned that killing Igboho would result in the emergence of a new Boko Haram from the Southwest.
He was referring to Igboho's attempted detention by security personnel over the weekend.
Over the weekend, a joint unit of the Department of State Services (DSS) and police tried to apprehend Igboho on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The DSS, on the other hand, denied any role in the attempted detention. Iginla urged the Federal Government to proceed with care and wisdom in dealing with the Igboho matter.
“If Boko Haram's leader, Muhammad Yusuf, was not killed in such a gruesome way, his disciples would not be enraged and would not join the hated sect."
I warn and admonish the Federal government to exercise vigilance and restraint in their plans to detain Sunday Ighoho. The explanation for this is that if you kill him, another Boko haram will rise up in the western zone. You should use vigilance and restraint when dealing with his issue.
Invite him, speak to him, give him advice, and express your opinions with him; any effort to exclude him will lead to a new type of challenge, similar to the one we're dealing with now in the north.
SUMMARY!: When a leader rises to speak out for his people, negotiation is more necessary than an aggressive solution.
