Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party's vice presidential candidate, has revealed how social media users will vote in the 2023 presidential election.
Contrary to popular belief, those who use social media will vote in the 2023 presidential election, according to Baba-Ahmed.
The 46-year-old founder of Abuja's Baze University stated this on Channels TV on Friday night.
The economist-turned-politician added that money would not be a deciding factor in the election's outcome.
"Go and start looking at major European airline bookings into Nigeria, not just during Christmas time; funny enough, this time after Christmas time; late January to the third week of February, you will see that they are getting full," Baba-Ahmed said.
"I am in the data and statistics business, so I decided to focus on that." This indicates that social media will vote. Social media, whether they're in Canada or Antarctica; if one person is there and mobilizes 100,000 people to vote, it's a success. But we are not afraid.
"Any major politician's bank balance is becoming irrelevant." Those of us who worked hard for what little we have are spending it wisely and carefully. Those who made it from government, who simply open the coffers and bring it out, will continue to splash it, and it will mean less and less until election time."
