Headie One, a British rapper and vocalist, has released a new song named "Link in the Ends," which includes French artists Koba LaD.
Headie One, who was born on October 6, 1994, is a member of the UK drill group OFB and is regarded as a pioneer inventor in the UK drill scene.
In 2018, the rapper released his second solo mixtape, titled 'The One,' which featured the tune "Know Better," which became a "underground success" with rapper RV.
Headie One is most known for his songs "18HUNNA" with rapper Dave, "Only You Freestyle" with rapper Drake, "Ain't It Different" with rappers AJ Tracey and Stormzy, and his solo hit "Both." The tune "18HUNNA" reached at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart, while "Only You Freestyle" peaked at number 5 and "Ain't It Different" peaked at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart.
Headie One has put out a number of mixtapes. In 2019, he released Music x Road, his eighth and first mainstream mixtape, which reached at number 5 on the UK Albums Chart. In 2020, he published his debut album, Edna, which was inspired by his mother, Edna Duah, and peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
"Edna" has received widespread acclaim in the music industry. The NME commended Adjei for his "melancholy, minor-key trap sounds necessary of in-vogue current hip-hop," while The Times called him the "breakout star of drill."
Headie One — Too Loyal for My Own Good, his eighth mixtape, was released on October 1, 2021.
