On at about 13:36:46 PM, Future’s ‘I Never Liked You’ Album Skyrockets To Gold Certification was updated.
His recent album I Never Liked You has already sold over 500,000 album-equivalent units and been certified gold, adding another achievement to Future's already impressive résumé. I Never Liked You was released on April 29 and debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 222,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week of release. One of the longest chart-topping runs for a rap artist, the album is Future's first since High Off Life in 2020 and is his seventh straight No. 1 launch.
I Never Liked You has guest performances from Drake, Kanye West, Gunna, Young Thug, EST Gee, Kodak Black, and Tems in addition to the hit "Worst Day," which serves as the album's centrepiece. "Keep It Burnin" featuring Kanye West and "Wait For U," featuring Drake and emerging star vocalist Tems, have both contributed to the album's success, as has Future's first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single as a lead artist with "Wait For U." It's no surprise that Future released a deluxe edition of I Never Liked You, which features six new tracks and guest performances from Lil' Baby, 42 Dugg and Lil Durk as well as Young Scooter and Babyface Ray.
After being named "Best Rapper Alive" by GQ Magazine, Future attended his adoptive son's graduation and displayed the affection that a proud Poppa would. It's heartwarming to see the rapper crack a grin when asked about his personal life.
