The anticipated ‘WAY HOME’ EP by Darey featuring Teni and Patoranking is finally out.
Way Home by Darey—Darey releases his 2020 debut EP titled “Way Home“. The body of work is a 7 tracks mini music project with two guest artists as features; Teni and Patoranking. This coming in after the successful release of the singles; ‘Jah Guide Me‘ and ‘Jojo‘ which were his come back songs after a long break from music releases.
Dare Art Alade, better known by his stage name Darey, is a multi-platinum Afro Soul/R&B singer, musician, songwriter, music producer, showstopper extraordinaire, and entrepreneur. He is also the son of Art Alade, a renowned African jazz musician and entertainer. Darey has left an indelible mark on the Nigerian and African music scenes since coming in second place in the 2004 season of Project Fame, a music talent search reality TV show.
He's had several hit singles, including "Escalade," a groundbreaking Afro R&b cut; "Carry Dey Go," a collaboration with Afro-pop legend 2Face (2 Baba); and the piano-laced classic "Not The Girl." His critically acclaimed last album, "Naked," features the hit single "Pray For Me," which features the Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir, as well as collaborations with Afropop megastar Olamide and international Afro-soul singer Asa. MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAS), Channel O Awards, World Music Awards, The Headies, Nigerian Music Awards, and a slew of other awards and nominations have all been bestowed upon him.
He has shared the stage with some of the world's most talented musicians, including Beyoncé, Wizkid, Jay Z, Ciara, Cardi B, Burna Boy, Sean Paul, Usher, R Kelly, Akon, Lionel Richie, and many others. His albums "From Me 2 U," "unDAREYted," and "Double Dare" have sold millions of copies worldwide, and he has millions of fans in Africa and the diaspora.
He's back with a new music project that draws on his musical experience (sound maturity) and growth.
