Cracker Mallo (born 1996) is a Nigerian music producer, singer, and songwriter from Lagos Island, a sub-region of Lagos state. His sound is a fusion of many different genres, with Afro Beats serving as the foundation. Cracker is regarded as one of the most promising producers from West Africa, having worked on some of the continent's biggest hits. The single 'In A Jiffy' is his first under his own name.
In the year 2018, the song "In a Jiffy" was written in Lagos. Cracker composed and produced the track. Cracker's attempt to explore the Afro Swing sound resulted in this song. The lyrics are a narrated account of his personal experiences and lessons learned thus far.
Cracker focused more on his production side after his first single, and so far he has produced hit songs with big names (A-list acts) in the Nigerian music industry. Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Slimcase, Peruzzi, 2Baba, Fireboy DML, and Dice Ailes are just a few of the notable artists with whom he has collaborated.
For Fireboy DML, this isn't the first time the two musicians have collaborated. Cracker Mallo was the man behind the act's debut mega-hit "Jealous," as well as his debut album "Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps," on which he produced more than a track.
The song "Wickedest Wyne" is their most recent release and serves as an introduction to Cracker Mallo's upcoming project, SAUND.
