Cotton Fest, Riky Rick's legacy, will take place in Cape Town this December.
Following the successful return of the festival in April following the death of the founder, the organizers of the fest announced another one for this year.
"SPECIAL NOTICE: Cape Town, we're coming for you!" The University of Cottonfest is on tour and will be held on December 10, 2022, at Paarden Eiland Park, Transvaal Street, Paarden Eiland."
"Our University Campus experience includes two stages with some of South Africa's best artists, merchandise, a sports area, and more," they wrote on their official Instagram account.
Riky Rick had a strong passion for the youth, society, and upcoming artists; his wife understands this and is committed to keeping it alive.
"One of Riky's greatest passions was a youth, children, and the next generation."
"He gave a lot of his time, energy, and focus to helping develop and mentor youth," she said.
