According to him, the “smooth conduct” of elections in Ghana should serve as a lesson to Nigeria.
It was reported earlier that President Nana Akufo-Addo was re-elected after a tightly contested presidential election. Atiku, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last election, tweeted a congratulatory message to Nana Akufo-Addo.
“Congratulations to President @NAkufoAddo on his reelection.
“The smooth conduct of the Ghana elections should be an eye-opener to our nation.”
Atiku said Nigeria must undertake far-reaching
“electoral reforms that address the shortcomings of our previous experience and strengthens our electoral process.”
