Mp3 Download » Anitta - Faking Love featuring Saweetie. Anitta, the stage name of Brazilian singer Larissa de Macedo Machado, has released a new song, "Faking Love," off her fifth studio album, "Versions of Me."
Faking Love song by Anitta — Anitta collaborates with American rapper Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, better known by his stage name Saweetie, on the song "Faking Love."
"Versions of Me," released by Warner Records, is Anitta's first album to be totally geared at the foreign market, and it, like her 2019 album Kisses, will have songs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The album was executive produced by Ryan Tedder.
The album was preceded by the songs "Me Gusta," "Girl from Rio," "Faking Love," "Envolver," and "Boys Don't Cry."
Anitta began production on her fifth studio album, Girl from Rio, after releasing her trilingual visual album Kisses (2019).
Anitta said in a 2020 interview for the Brazilian magazine Veja that she had 30 tracks ready for the album and was working on the tracklist with her manager Brandon Silverstein.
Anitta released the song "Girl from Rio" in April 2021, which was revealed as the album's then-title track, but Anitta and her team opted not to release the album that year.

On April 1, 2022, Anitta revealed the album's new title, release date, and cover art, as well as indicating that she would later explain her reasoning behind the album cover and that she "liked" that it was "creating debate," stating that this was her intention.
Anitta later stated on her social media sites, "Even after millions of plastic surgeries, physicians, and interventions... my inside just stays the same," referring to the "notable plastic surgery changes" between the different faces on the cover. She also mentioned that the title had been altered to Versions of Me since it "made more sense."
