Artist Julius Dubose, better known by his stage name A Boogie wit da Hoodie, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. His latest single is named "Man in the Mirror."

Both Atlantic Records and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's imprint label, Highbridge the Label, have signed the rapper.

Friends of the rapper gave him the moniker "A Boogie wit da Hoodie" because of how often he wore hoodies, which was a reference to the character "Ace Boogie" from the 2002 film Paid in Full.

Singles "Numbers" (which debuted at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100), "Look Back at It" (which debuted at number 27), and "Drowning" are A Boogie's most successful to date (number 38).

The Bigger Artist, the first studio album by A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, was released in 2017 and debuted at position #4 on the Billboard 200. Hoodie SZN (2018), his second studio album, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

Over the course of 2019, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie was featured on over 20 tracks, often sharing the spotlight with singers including Ed Sheeran, Rick Ross, Khalid, Ally Brooke, Liam Payne, Lil Durk, and Summer Walker.

"Mood Swings," the first song from A Boogie's upcoming album Artist 2.0, was released on September 13, 2019 and debuted at position No. 76 on the Billboard Hot 100.

A Boogie's new single, "Reply," featuring Lil Uzi Vert, was released on November 15, 2019. On the Billboard Hot 100, it debuted at number 49. On the album's tune "Luv is Art," Uzi also appears.

Concerts and tours with A Boogie Wit da Hoodie took place all across the United States and the United Kingdom in 2019. Aside from that, he was supposed to play at Wireless 2020 alongside other rappers like AJ Tracey and A$AP Rocky, but their sets were canceled because of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The song "King of My City" was released by A Boogie Wit da Hoodie on January 31, 2020 as the third single from his album Artist 2.0. A debut on the chart and a peak position of #69 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the song.

Artist 2, the follow-up studio album by A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, was released on February 14, 2020. It opened at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 111,000 A&R-estimated album equivalent units earned (including 3,000 in pure album sales).

On Artist 2.0, you'll find the work of Roddy Ricch, Gunna, DaBaby, Khalid, Summer Walker, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

Since the first Artist was released on Valentine's Day in 2016, A Boogie thought it would be fitting to drop Artist 2.0 on his daughter's third birthday, February 14, 2020.

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie dropped the lead song "Bleed" from the deluxe edition of Artist 2.0 on June 16, 2020. The album itself dropped the following week, on June 19, 2020. On the Billboard Hot 100, it reached position #57.

In the year following the release of the deluxe edition of Artist 2.0, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie took a break from releasing new music, however he did appear on the tracks of other artists like Pop Smoke, Jess Glynne, Nas, Capo Plaza, DJ Khaled, and more.
